New Trend: White Kitchens

There are a plethora of design options when it comes to designing your kitchen, but the current trend is decidedly leaning towards one color:  white.  A white kitchen is bright, cheery, timeless, and can easily blend with a variety of design styles including:  traditional, modern, cottage, and contemporary.

If you think white means vanilla, take a look at some of these gorgeous kitchens and then tell us if you still think white equals boring.

This kitchen by Projects is warmed up with yellow walls and countertop accents.  The white cabinetry makes this space feel open and airy.

Also by Projects, this kitchen exudes a contemporary feel with its white cabinetry, backsplash, and countertops.  The island with a wooden countertop adds a warm touch to this elegant kitchen.

This white kitchen utilizes limited space with the under cabinet shelving.  The white subway tile is always a classic choice and adds to the open and inviting feeling this kitchen layout provides.

Another kitchen by Projects,  these homeowners added a pop of relaxing blue to their white kitchen.

Tell us:  What do you think of the white kitchen trend?  Do you like white cabinetry, backsplash, and countertops or do you prefer darker, richer tones in your kitchen?
