Projects General Construction Speaks at Girls Inc Career Day

Christi and Cherilyn were recently asked to speak to several groups of girls at Girls Inc during Career Day, and of course they were thrilled to take some time to speak and help empower our future leaders.

Career Week at the Santa Barbara and Goleta Girls Inc. centers is an opportunity for the girls to learn more about different careers, and perhaps develop a vision of their own futures through presentations from other community representatives.

Being female trailblazers in the construction field, Christi and Cherilyn were excited to lead by example and show girls that they can do anything they want if they put their minds to it.  During the presentations, they spoke to the girls about how they got into Construction, and how, as women, we can do anything the guys can do...there is no limit! 

The favorite part of the presentation was when they shared photos of past projects, both before and afters, and the girls decided which they liked better… the before or the after. They all loved the afters!  YAY!
